Have you been to the UltraZone in Milwaukee? (16074 Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard, map)
Sure, Laser tag. A bunch of kids run into a dark room shooting each other with lasers. Not for the peace-nik crowd, or for people who have gun issues. But if you can handle a squirt gun, you can probably handle a laser tag game. Normally, the rate is $20 for three games. However, I have a special deal for you!
You could even go and hang out, playing air hockey or pinball. The place is loud and fun. It, of course, also has some over priced drinks and pizza. But who doesn’t like soda and pizza? It has about twenty video games, and every ten to fifteen minutes more kids go in or out of the laser tag arena. It’s a moving place.
Oh, as I was saying, a special deal? On Thursday, February 24th from 5 to 9 PM, the Village Free School will be hosting 4 hours of Lazer tag. For a 20 dollar donation to their school per person, or a 50 dollar donation per family, you, your kids and your dog can all go play laser tag for 4 hours with adult supervision. Ok, not the dog. But the kids! And the whole donation goes to the school.
Another little secret I’ll let you in on; this UltraZone is right next to a quaint little theater that doesn’t take debit cards. But the movie prices were pretty low, about $7, so send the kids to play laser tag with the Village Free School and take your date to the movies.
