Do you have any suggestions of books we can read together? Aim at something interesting for a highly literate teenager (my elder daughter). I’ll pick out a book by this weekend. You, on the other hand, go to your library and sign up for The Biggest Summer Reading Program Ever (Signups start June 18).
I still think that she would love the Belgarion series by David Eddings Starting with “Pawn of Prophecy” She’ll love the witty dialogue between characters and it’s just all around fun to read the whole series…
You know, Michelle – that’s a great suggestion. That’s a fun entry point to that series, and some good branches to follow as the series matures, what with the other Eddings books. I’ll have to deeply consider that!
