North Portland Police Precinct
March 26, 2007
If you live in North Portland, or are concerned about the City as a whole, you should familiarize you with what the Police Chief has in mind for the North Portland Police Precinct. Essentially, since there’s fewer calls out here and we’re all so likable and kind, she wants to cut back on the civilian and command support. We’d still have officers, but nobody to watch over them or to help them file paperwork.
Someone has started a Blog-as-Dialogue that goes over the problem and proposed solutions, and encourages community support.
