Winter Break

PIR
December 11, 2005

Baby, it’s cold outside- maybe you should ride in your warm car to see the lights this year.

PIR Winter Wonderland

My kids love the Winter Wonderland. You can borrow a CD of Christmas music to listen through as your car quietly glides through the forty acres of brilliantly arranged lights. Some of the lights blink on and off in sequence, providing reindeer who leap and cavort over the road.

The dinosaurs are pretty fabulous, it’s true, but I really can’t get over the twelve days of Christmas done up in lights. It’s fun listening to the oohs and aahs from the back seat, making your whole trip worthwhile.

And besides, how often to you get to drive on a real racetrack?
